The dog I adopt:
1. Will be vaccinated and given the necessary deworming at regular intervals and always according to the veterinarian's instructions.
2. Will be given a special ampoule for ticks and fleas twice a year.
3. Will always have a collar and on it a tag with his name and my phone number.
4. If at the time of this adoption he/she is NOT sterilized, I will transfer him/her for sterilization to a veterinarian that cooperates with the SAACy Organization, when I am informed by phone by the competent representative of the organization.
5. In the event that he/she becomes ill or injured, I must immediately take him/her to a veterinarian for assistance.
6. If I cannot keep him I will IMMEDIATELY inform the SAACy Organization. Under NO circumstances will I put him up for adoption on my own. I am also obliged to take care of him until a new family is found.
7. If lost, I will inform the Police and the Municipality or Community of my area, within 24 hours at the latest.
8. It will not be:
a. permanently chained or on a short leash that will limit his movements
b. locked in a small cage
c. on a balcony or roof or in a toilet/bathroom.
9. He will exercise regularly (eg: by walking, running and always in suitable places and with constant supervision).
10. Any training will NEVER be done by the use of force.
11. Will not be used for hunting, breeding or other professional or scientific purposes.

Also:
1. I will inform the SAACy Organization immediately in case of death, disappearance or accident of the animal.
2. Any damage and/or injury to a third person and/or animal caused by the dog, I am solely responsible for it and in such a case SAACy has no legal civil or criminal liability.
3. I will NEVER leave the dog unattended in the presence of minors. Any result of such an action (eg injury, etc.) is solely my responsibility. In such a development SAACy has no legal civil or criminal liability.
4. The SAACy Organization is not responsible for any diseases that may appear after receiving the animal from me, nevertheless, I will inform it.
5. The delivery of the animal to other persons is allowed only after written approval from the SAACy Organization.
6. Only a registered veterinarian may decide to kill the animal and only after being informed and obtaining approval from the SAACy Organization.
7. It is prohibited to euthanize puppies that are likely to result from my carelessness, mistake, omission and/or indifference. The SAACy Organization will be informed immediately in case of such a development.
8. I accept periodic checks by a representative of the SAACy Organization after the date of adoption to inspect the dog's living environment, even if these are done unannounced and I have no objection to this.
9. I accept that the SAACy Organization has the right to cancel the adoption for any non-observance of part or all of the above or if during the visit of a representative it is found that the conditions in which the dog lives violate the Protection and Welfare of Animals Act 1994 or the Dogs Law of 2002 and as they have been amended from time to time. The return will be made by the sponsor / owner to the person in charge of this adoption.
10. In case of cancellation of the adoption, no money is returned.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR NEW FAMILY MEMBER
1. Register the dog and pay an annual ownership fee to your Municipality or Community.
2. You must vaccinate your dog and give him the necessary deworming at regular intervals and always according to the instructions of your veterinarian.
3. You must put a special ampoule for ticks and fleas twice a year.
4. If the dog lives in the yard, we recommend using a special anti-pest collar, especially during the summer months.
5. Your dog must always have a collar and a tag with his name and your phone on it.
6. For sterilization, the dog you adopted should be taken immediately to a veterinarian that cooperates with the SAACy Organization when you are informed by phone by the responsible member of the organization.
7. The dog's diet should always be according to your veterinarian's instructions.
8. In case the dog becomes sick or injured you must visit a veterinarian.
9. You must take care of your dog in case you will be away from home for more than a day.
10. IF you cannot keep the dog, you are obligated to care for it until a new family is found.
11. IF your dog is lost, you must inform the Police and the Municipality of your area within 24 hours at the latest.
12. IF your dog lives in the garden, it must be in a place where there is a canopy which will protect it from rain, sun and wind. In addition, you must provide him with a house under the canopy as a separate sleeping area.
13. You must ensure that the fencing of your yard prevents the dog from escaping into the street. A dog outside the owner's declared residence is considered a stray.
14. The dog is not allowed to be permanently chained or on a short leash that restricts its movements, locked in a small cage, on a balcony or roof or in a toilet/bathroom.
15. The dog must be exercised regularly (eg: by walking or running in suitable areas). This helps prevent your dog from becoming aggressive.
16. His water and food bowl must always be clean. The water must be changed at least once a day.
17. Continued barking may be subject to legal notice and fine. It is your responsibility to properly train your dog to prevent constant and annoying barking.
18. Dog training is NEVER done with the use of force. Instead, the dog wants a lot of love, encouragement and reward for what it does.
19. You must respect your dog in order for him to respect and trust you.
